Upcoming Court Advocacy Training

Hi everyone!

There will be a court advocacy training on Thursday, March 19th at the St. Louis Public Library–Buder Branch. This is located at 4401 Hampton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63109. It will start at 7:00 p.m.

This training is for anyone who has an interest in the court process and would like to start advocating for their neighborhood when crimes occur.  It’s a one hour training that covers court etiquette and the elements of how to write an impact statement for submission to the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s office (to be made available to the presiding judge(s) serving on the case.  This is a great training and we are looking for volunteers to help with the FPSE Court Advocacy Team.  Show your support for the neighborhood by creating accountability in the court room!

Please RSVP to Carolyn Compton at ccompton@cwensi.com by March 17th at 5 pm if you would like to attend or have any questions.

You can also RSVP to Jen Miles at milesj@stlouiscao.org by March 17th at 5 pm.

There will only be enough handouts available for those that RSVP.
